(Mission Times Courier, San Diego, CA) - The next meeting of the Navajo Community Planners, Inc, (NCPI) is scheduled for Monday, July 21st at 7:00pm at the Mission Valley Church of the Nazarene.
Currently, the sole Action Item on the Agenda is the T-Mobile Telecom site, which is proposed for installation on Twin Lake Drive, south of Benchley Weinberger Elementary School, near the intersection with Cedar Lake. The applicant volunteered to return in July, after sensing that we would propose a continuation to allow residents to attend and express their opinion. Therefore, you are invited to attend the NCPI meeting to voice your opinion, pro or con, about this proposed site.
Please note that the Telecom Act of 1996 precludes health issues as a reason for recommending that a site not move forward. Residents of the Cedar Lake – Twin Lake area, this is your opportunity to participate in a public discussion of the site. A vote will be taken by the NCPI Board and the recommendation will be forwarded to the Planning Commission and the City Council, as well as Development Services. Please attend if you can.
