"Consider Yourself" invited to San Diego Junior Theatre's Season Opener "Oliver!"

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

(Mission Times Courier, San Diego, Ca) -  Join orphaned Oliver on his journey through the streets of London as he searches for true love.  After his experiences with Fagin, fellow orphans, pick pockets, and the evil Bill Sykes, ultimately, Oliver is reunited with his wealthy grandfather.  This deeply moving musical presented by San Diego Junior Theatre features memorable songs such as “Consider Yourself,” “I’d Do Anything and “Where is Love.”

“I’m excited to be back at Junior Theatre directing these dedicated and talented young actors.” said Scott Viets, director.  “Oliver! is a story about survival.  Here, at Junior Theatre, we will tell the story as Dickens intended it.”      

Based on Oliver Twist, by Charles Dickens, musically adapted Oliver! can be seen at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park from October 19 – November 4.  Show times are Fridays at 7 pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 2 pm.  Admission prices are  $5 - $8 for children under 15 and seniors, $7 - $10 for adults.  Please call the box office at (619) 239-8355 for ticket purchases and availability.  For more information, please visit our website at www.juniortheatre.com.
