Two thumbs up is the rating, "Annie Jr" deserves! After school, 4th grade teacher, Ms. Jodi O'Hara, shared her theatrical talents with 150 students directing this toe-tapping production. The community came together gathering costumes, props, and the magical backdrops. Kindergarten through 5th graders gave Broadway-worthy performances to a packed house on five separate occasions. The entire student body gained a history lesson about the 1929 Great Depression. And through powerful solos from Annie, they learned that no matter how bad things seem "The sun will come out tomorrow." As a communications magnet, Benchley-Weinberger clearly earned an ovation, Bravo!
