Gage Elementary School will once again be participating in the "Pasta for Pennies" fundraiser to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. On February 6, an assembly will be presented to introduce this worthy cause. This organization raises money for research and patient services but also teaches young adults about leukemia, philanthropy, teamwork, and making a difference in the life of someone facing obstacles greater than their own.

Last year Gage Elementary contributed $1,179.36, averaging $2.29 per student; which only emphasizes that no amount is too "small" to make a "big" difference! Monies will be collected February 9-27. So…start saving your pennies now!

On February 26, we will once again offer an exciting evening for families to participate in an activity arranged by the Science Team at Gage Elementary. This event will be preceded by a PTA Unit meeting which will include a CHAMP (child abuse awareness program) presentation for parents. All neighborhood families are welcome and are encouraged to attend. Prizes and light refreshments will be provided.
