Gage Elementary School will be having Kindergarten registration week from March 30 through April 3 for students who will start school on September 7, 2009. Office hours are from 7:00am to 3:00pm, On Wednesday morning, April 1, parents and incoming Kindergarten students are welcome to visit a Kindergarten classroom from 10:30 until noon.

Congratulations to the 2008-2009 Student Council Officers! Nicholas Martin, President; Sumer Malloian, Vice-President; Monica Nguyen, Secretary; Sara Newman, Historian; Playground Commissioners, Addison Fausset and CJ Graven; Fire Marshal, Sydney Sporl; VEEP Representative, Alejandro Corona and Ariana Reyes.

Twenty-five 5th grade students campaigned for the various positions on Student Council for one week prior to the elections. Elections were held the first week of November to coincide with the Presidential and general election. On our 'Gage Election Day', each candidate delivered a speech sharing their qualifications for office. Students in grades 3, 4, and 5, along with parents and staff members attended this event. All candidates put forth their best effort during the campaign and in delivering their speeches.
