Welcome Back Hearst Hounds and a warm welcome to the many new teachers and our new principal Jamie Jorgenson.

All Hearst families are encouraged to join the PTA, which is planning many fun activities to kick off the school year. PTA membership ranges from $15 to $100 and everyone who joins will receive Legoland vouchers and be entered into a prize drawing.

The Hearst PTA funds Art Corp, student assemblies, technology/computer supplies, the talent show and many other important school services. For more information about the PTA, attend the next meeting Monday, October 6 at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Mark your calendars for Hearst's annual Fall Festival, the evening of Friday, October 17. This fun-filled event is open to the community and features games, music/dancing, sweet treats and the chance to visit with friends. All proceeds benefit Hearst Elementary.
