Next year Hearst Elementary will celebrate its 50th year of excellence in education in our community. Our school has been around for 50 years and we need a group of parents and community Members to help us come up with a great way to make the year special. Please mark your calendar to attend our annual Spring Choral Concert on Thursday, May 28. We will once again use the Lewis Middle School auditorium. Our theme is peace....with songs about Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and freedom.

The San Diego City Schools Elementary Honor Choir included four of our fifth grade girls this year. Congratulations to Brooke Harris, Nina Tabrizi, Emily Arkin, and Cassidy Scott. They rehearsed for six weeks, at Taft Middle School, with over 150 other students from schools in the area and performed in a concert at Point Loma Nazarene College the evening of March 7th.
