This school year has flown by and St Therese Academy is truly blessed to have the greatest teachers and staff.  Their hard work and dedication has contributed to our schools success.  To show our appreciation, the faculty and staff were honored at Teacher Appreciation Night.  The evening was amazing from the food, the photo montages on the wall and the decorations to the Master of Ceremonies.  Special thanks to Rosanne Arellanez, and her crew, the Room Parents and the PTG for putting together a great evening.   

Everyone had a great time at the Annual Casino Night.  There were real casino tables with dealers, great food and drinks.  This fundraiser was such a great way to have fun while supporting our school. Thank you to Michelle Scott, Jodie Delimitros, Cheryl Brown and Silvia Nadalet and all the volunteers for making this night a fantastic time!

The sixth graders had a blast at the YMCA Camp Marston located in Julian.  The kids spent the week hiking, canoeing, rock climbing and learning archery.  They enjoyed the campfires and eating the delicious food.  
Congratulations to the Kindergarten class for collecting the most food for the Lenten Canned Food Drive.  Pasta for Pennies was a huge success due to the efforts of Mr. MacLaine.  The 4th grade raised the most money; followed in second place by the 8th grade; third place was the 1st grade.

Thank you to Claudia Espinoza, Eugenia Mora, Olivia Bustos and all the parent volunteers who contributed to the Cesar Chavez Day lunch.  The food was great and reminded us of this year's school theme "Bring out the hero in yourself and others." We raised in excess of $450 to support the Cesar Chavez Foundation.  

STA is excited to offer our Summer Enrichment Program.  This program offers students entering grades one through eighth a hands on opportunity to build on the material they have learned all year as well as establish a stronger base for the up and coming school year.  This program includes classes in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Fine Arts.
